In a special search operation conducted, a suicide jacket laden with 8Kg explosive was found along with some other warlike items from general area Pallechchenakulam in Kumburupiddi, Trincomalee district this morning, 24 September.
These items had been hidden inside a jungle patch in the area and recovery was made around 9.30 a.m today, defence source said.
