Minor explosion near Khan Clock Tower - Malwaththa Road, Colombo

A minor explosion has been reported in Colombo Fort short while ago. According to the police sources, a suspected improvised explosive device (IED) has been exploded inside a vehicle.

Also, Police confirmed that no one has received injuries due to this explosion. Only minor damages have been caused to vehicles, police added.

Police conducts further investigations.
