Presidential Secretariat sources said Sri Lanka's main Opposition leader Ranil Wickremesinghe had met Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake this morning to discuss over the setting up of the Constitutional Council.
After the one to one discussion, both Wickremesinghe and Wickremanayake had forwarded a joint letter to President Mahinda Rajapaksa requesting a further discussion on the subject with him, the sources added.
