Government Defence Affairs Spokesman Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said that there is a risk of LTTE chemical gas attack and Security personnel are ready to face any such kind of attack.
He made these observations while addressing a media briefing recently in Colombo. Minister Keheliya pointed that terrorism means risk and Government Troops are always ready to face that risk.
Meanwhile Minister of Health Care and Nutrition Nimal Siripala De Silva said that all measures are taken to prevent any type of chemical attacks by supplying medicines and medical equipment, in the eventuality. Speaking further he said that if any chemical attack is carried out by LTTE, health authorities are advised on same.
