Sri Lanka beat Singapore in Youth Rugby Asiad [November 04 2008]

Sri Lanka beat Singapore by 48 points 32 in their Asian Youth Rugby Asiad match played in Buan, South Korea today. The win enabled Sri Lanka to advance into the semi finals of the eight-nation tournament.

The winners connected their points from four goals and four tries while Singapore scored three goals, one try and two penalties. Sri lanka led 19-15 at half time. Sri Lanka will now meet the winners of tomorrow's game between Hong Kong and Taiwan in the semi finals to be played on Friday. In another first round match played today, Thailand beat Malaysia by 26 points to 12.
