Three new UPFA MPs from Kandy


<p>Three new faces have been elected as MPs from the Kandy District under the UPFA ticket.

<p>They are Lohan Ratwatte, Eric Weerawardena and Dilum Amunugama. Lohan is the son of former Minister and SLFP National Organiser Gen. Anuruddha Ratwatte, and Eric is the son of Central Provincial Councillor Ediriweera Weerawardena.

<p>Dilum Amunugama is a nephew of former Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama. Lohan Ratwatte and Dilum Amunugama were earlier members of the Cental Provincial Council.

<p>The two vacancies created by their resignation from the Central Provincial Council will be filled by Anura Fernando and Rizvi Farook of the UPFA.
