Discussions will be held between Minister G.L. Peiris and the UN Secretary General on several important matters relating to Sri Lanka.
Reports said the meeting is scheduled for today. They will focus attention on LTTE activities on foreign soil as well. It is expected to include a number of political issues. Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris started his US journey yesterday on an invitation of the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The Minister will hold discussions with the US Secretary of State on Wednesday. He will also meet with Senators, Congressmen and high ranking officials of the US Government.
