The Disaster Management Centre will conduct tsunami drill in 14 coastal districts in the country to explore the possibility of mitigating the risk in the event of a real tsunami.
The Disaster Management Centre of Sri Lanka activated all of its tsunami early warning dissemination systems installed in the country's coastal belt this afternoon. The drill targeted 14 villages in the 14 coastal districts of the country.
