Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am has slammed the record, as he believes the King of Pop would not have wanted the tracks to see the light of day.

"How you gonna release Michael Jackson when Michael Jackson aint here to bless it?" said lyricist and producer Will. "He was a perfectionist and he wouldnt have wanted it that way," added Will, who worked with Jacko before his sudden death in June 2009.

"I dont think that should ever come out. Now that he is not part of the process, what are they doing? Why would you put a record out like that?" said the BEP chart topper. Sony is expected to unveil the new MJ album in November. It is thought it will consist of 10 previously unreleased tracks, chosen from more than 100 songs held in his personal vaults. "Because he was a friend of mine, I just think thats disrespectful," said Will. “Whats wrong with what he already contributed to the world?" he added.
