Sri Lanka ‘A’ progressed to 166 for 3 at stumps in a rain-curtailed second day of their first unofficial Test against Pakistan ‘A’ continued at Galle International Stadium, Galle today.

Resuming from their overnight total of 105 for 3, the overnight pair Kaushal Silva and Thilina Kandamby added 61 runs without being separated after a delayed start due to wet conditions. The highlight of the day’s pay was the unbeaten half century (63 n.o) by Silva which included nine boundaries off 117 balls. Three opening bowlers shared a wicket each for the visitors.
