TNA rejects Ranil’s nominee

Tamil National Alliance has rejected Opposition leader Ranil Wickremesinghe’s nominee for the Parliament Council.

Earlier this morning, Ranil Wickremesinghe announced the nomination of TNA Parliamentarian M.A Sumandiran as the Opposition nominee for the Parliament Council created under the recent 18th Amendment.

However, TNA spokesman Suresh Premachandran MP said that they reject Wickremasinghe’s nomination of Sumandiran to the Parliament Council.
