Ministry of Power and Energy launched their web site www.power.lk. The event was held today on the 136th Commemoration day of D.J. Wimalasurendra, the pioneering engineer in the Hydro Electricity power generation in Sri Lanka.
Power and Energy Minister Patali Champaka Ranawaka speaking at the event said by enabling the public to report on alleged corruption and bribes and making space for their comments on this website will pave a path to upgrade the Ministry in to extend a transparent service to the people.
