Sri Lanka’s exports to India increase by 45% - Indian High Commissioner September 23 2010

Sri Lanka’s exports to India have increased by 45 % during the first seven months of this year, Indian High Commissioner Ashok K. Kantha said today. Taking during a luncheon meeting with local media heads, the Indian High Commissioner said that there has been a significant increase in trade between the two countries.

“Sri Lanka’s exports to India have increased by 45% during the first seven months and India’s exports to Sri Lanka have also increased by 41%. If the current trend continues, 2010 will be an all time high record in trade relations between the two countries,” he said a short while ago.
