74 arrested after casino raid in Kandy

Police raided an unauthorised casino in Kandy today and arrested 74 persons. Of the persons arrested, 25 are employees of the casino which included nine women. The others arrested are the persons who had been patronising the casino at the time of the raid today.

The Policemen who participated in the raid also found Rs. 200, 000 have been recovered from the casino floor. Kandy Police are making further investigations.
