Shashikala half century helps Sri Lanka make 220 for 6 in 50 overs

<p>Sri Lanka, put into bat, made 220 for 6 in 50 oversin their ICC Women’s Cricket Challenge match against Pakistan played at Potchefstroom, South Africa today.

<p>Despite losing the first wicket with five runs on the board, Sri Lanka’s modest total was boosted by a 73-run partnership for the second wicket between opener Chamari Polgampola and Suwini de Alwis. But the highest contributor towards Sri Lanka’s modest total was Shashikala Siriwardene who made a brilliant half century.
