The Colombo High Court today gave an order to examine the case filed against Anuruddha Ratwatte October 18. In this case, the former Deputy Defence Minister is charged for failing to account for his assets.
Ratwatte was present before court today following a court notice and is lawyer told the court that he wishes to put forward written submissions before the case is examined. The case was filed by the Bribery Commission after Ratwatte was unable to account for Rs. 30 million in assets.
