US road show on ‘Doing business’   [October 13 2010]  

The US is to hold its first road show ‘ Doing business’ in Sri Lanka on October 15. The show is organized by the Embassy together with the U.S. Commercial Service and the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Central and south Asia Michael Delaney, who is now in Sri Lanka will take part in the first road show seminar schedule to be held in Colombo and similar raod shows will be held in Galle, Kandy and Trincomalee.

An official of the US Embassy in Colombo said the show would provide an opportunity to offer information to assist to expand the rural economies and small and medium enterprises.

The show expects to attract local importers, businessmen and investors to enhance their knowledge with the US.
