Korea pledges support to re-build Sri Lanka

<P>South Korea has extended its full support to the government to re-build the country after ending the war. 
<P>This was disclosed during a bi-lateral discussion between the Korean Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik and the Minister of Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaka held in Seoul, yesterday.
<P>Korea has agreed to increase the current level of Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) to Sri Lanka.  

<P>Minister Rajapaksa is now in Korea is to meet some Korean Ministers and top officials during his four day visit to the country. 

<P>Korea has relaxed its travel advisory recently and the country is becoming a popular tourists destination among the Koreans. 

<P>During the discussion the Korean Prime Minister extended an invitation for the Sri Lankan President to visit Korea.. (DY)
