Hundreds of sportsmen and women will be taking part in the 36th National Sports Festival to be held in Kandy tomorrow 30th October.
The festival will be held at the Bogambara Stadium. The sports enthusiasts from the North and East did not have the opportunity to take part in the previous sports events held at the National level. However with the return of peace to the North and East hundreds of sportsmen and women are taking part in the 36th National Sports Festival in Kandy, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne.
A total number of five thousand sports men and women from the nine province are taking part in the Kandy Sports Festival.
