Over Rs. 159 million spent for differenlty abled

<p>The government had spent over Rs. 159 million last year for project to
uplift the standards of differently abled people.
<p>Under these projects, medical and housing assistance, loans for self
employment and monthly allowance of Rs. 3000 for a family of a
differently abled people were given for them.
<p>Over eight percent of Sri Lanka’s population is disabled and ninety
percent of tem are unemployed and dependents.
