President in bilateral talks with leaders of China and Nepal

President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who is in Shanghai, China for the Expo 2010, also had several bilateral talks with state leaders today.  

He had a meeting with Chinese Prime Minister Wen Giabao on bilateral issues. Later in the day, the visiting Sri Lankan President had anther meeting with his Nepalese counterpart Yan Baran Yadev.

President Rajapaksa also visited the stalls at the Sri Lanka pavilion and the China pavilion at the Expo 2010 Trade Fair in Shanghai. He was accompanied by External Affairs Minister Prof. G. L. Peiris, Housing Minister Wimal Weerawansa and the Organiser of the Sri Lankan Pavilion Hubert Jayakody.
