The JVP-led Inter-University Students Federation, better known as Anthare, is continuing with their protest campaigns against the arrest of students with several protests. Today protests were held at the Sabaragamuwa University and at the Institute of Indigenous Medicine in Rajagiriya.
Three more protests have been organised at the Ruhuna and Peradeniya Universities and the Aesthetic Institute in Colombo tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Minister of Higher Education condemned such action and said the JVP is ruining the higher education and undergraduates. He requested the parents of the undergraduates not to allow their sons and daughters become goons of the JVP.
