The Sri Lanka Coast Gurads launched a new life saving unit at the Galle Face beach from today. Selecting the vulnerable spots out of the most popular beaches along the coast line, the Sri Lanka Coast Guards intends to launch life saving units around the country in the future.
The first life saving unit of the Coast Guards was established in Mirissa in Galle early this year. (DY)
