First ship to anchor H’tota Port tomorrow


<p>The first ship will enter the Magampura port amidst chanting of Pirith Buddhist monks, tomorrow morning.

<p>The Port will be declared open by President Mahinda Rajapaksa and will be opened for the public to witness the historical event.

<p>The Chairman of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority Dr. Priyath Bandu Wickrema said already 27 investors had shown interest in investing in projects and will provide over 10,000 direct employments and 60,000 indirect employments under the first phase.
