The Northern Province Maj. Gen. G.A. Chandrasiri has welcomed the 2011 budget saying that it would help northern province becoming a strategic economic location.
He also commented that the budget will help extensively the people in the north to engage actively in the development activities. The budget allocation of Rs. 2 billion north would assist in a big way to upgrade the schools in the north as well as to launch several constructive programmes, the governor said.
