India wants to work closely SL [November 26 2010]

Visiting Indian External Affairs Minister S.M.Krishna said India wanted to work very closely towards a prosperous and stable Sri Lanka after inaugurating the seventh session of the India-Sri Lanka Joint Commission meeting in Colombo.

He also added that he was sure the Sri Lankan Government was sensitive to the concerns expressed over the resettlement process.

Inviting his counterpart Prof.G.L.Peiris for bi-lateral discussions in New Delhi at a time convenient, he said the relations between the two nations has greatly diversified and become multifaceted with the phase of time.
