India wants to work closely SL

<P>Visiting Indian External Affairs Minister S.M.Krishna said India
wanted to work very closely towards a prosperous and stable Sri Lanka
after inaugurating the seventh session of the India-Sri Lanka Joint
Commission meeting in Colombo.

<P>He also added that he was sure the Sri Lankan Government was sensitive
to the concerns expressed over the resettlement process.

<P>Inviting his counterpart Prof.G.L.Peiris for bi-lateral discussions in
New Delhi at a time convenient, he said the relations between the two
nations has greatly diversified and become multifaceted with the phase
of time.
