Two baby jumbos released to wild

<P>Two baby elephants at the Elephant Transit Home (ETH)  were released
to Maduru Oya National Park today.

<P>Five-year-old 'Wasu' and 'Colombo' sheltered at the ETH since 2006
were collared before releasing to the wild.

<P>The two baby elephants in a batch of 10 will be continuously
monitored. The rest eight baby elephants will also be released next
week.

<P>Sixty six baby elephants at ETH, which was established in  1995 at the
Udawalawe National Park, have been released to the wild so far.
