A woman in Allawwa was killed by her brother-in-law and another woman was also injured during the incident, Police said.
She was beaten to death inside a Montessori in Thunmulla and the Police said it was due to a family dispute.
The injured woman was admitted to the Kurunegala hospital and taken the suspect into the custody.
