Over 322 people were injured due to various accidents including fireworks and road accidents, Police sources said.
Dr. Hector Weerasinghe, the Director of the Colombo National Hospital said over 228 people sought treatment during the December 31.
Eight persons were treated for injuries due to fire crackers.
