Over 100 former LTTE caders will be released in Jaffna on Thaipongal day (Jan 15). Commissioner General of Rehabilitation, Brigadier Susantha Ranasinghe said nearly half of the ex-LLTE cadres under rehabilitation was reunited with their families.
“Out of 11,696 ex-LTTE cadres in custody, 5,586 have already left rehabilitation centres”, he said.
