<p>A Corporal of the soldier attached to the Presidential Security
Division (PSD) have been arrested for collecting a large sums of money
from persons by promising them employment at the Hambantota Port, police sources said.

<p>A Nawalapitiya police raided his home at Pallegama and arrested the
suspect in possession of three forged army identity cards showing him
as an army officer in uniform.

<p>The suspect had duped several persons by collecting money on behalf of
Namal Rajapaksa the Member of parliament for Hambantota and the
Speaker of the Parliament Chamal Rajapaksa to secure employment at the
Hambantota port.
