Over 132,000 paddy land destroyed

<p>Over 132,000 acres of paddy land have been destroyed due to floods, the Agriculture Ministry sources said.

<p>The government has decided to distribute paddy seeds among farmers for re-cultivation.

<p>According to Ministry sources,  nearly 170 small irrigation tanks in Batticaloa, Polonnaruwa, Ampara and Anuradhapura districts have also been destroyed.
