Pakistan Army Commander General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani will arrive in Sri Lanka for a three-day official visit on January 19.
During his visit he will meet the Defence Secretary Gaotabaya Rajapaksa and Army Commander Lt. Gen. Jagath Jayasuriya and the Commanders of the Navy and Air Force.
He is hold bi-lateral discussions on strengthening the security between two countries.
General Kayani is schedule to visit the Defence Services Command and also the Staff College.
Being the former Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence, he was the Deputy Military Secretary of late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, during her first stint.
