The Meteorology Department predicts an improved weather with increasing temperature levels in teh country this week. The low temperature level recorded in Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Batticaloa is going up and according to Met Department there will be less showers.
Though the temperature in Colombo has risen to 28.8 Celsius in many parts of the country the temperature was less than 20 Celsius due to a La Nina affect resulted in a cold wave running around the country.
