Job opportunities in Libya soon [January 19 2011]

Libya is to send a ministerial delegation to explore the possibilities of providing employment opportunities for Sri Lankans in agricultural and fisheries sectors in Libya.

This was disclosed at a discussion held between Hambantota parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa met the Libyan President Colonel Muammar al-Gaddafi in Tripoli on, early this week.

A parliamentary group was in Libya to strengthen bi-lateral relationship with Sri Lanka and Libya. Libyan government has agreed to send a ministerial delegation to carry out a feasibility survey on strengthening bi-lateral relationship between two countries.
