Kandurata Province will face a tough task when they take on Ruhuna Province in the SLC Inter Provincial limited overs cricket tournament second semifinal match under lights at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Khettarama tomorrow (24).
World Cup discard Sanath Jayasuriya is once again set to tame the bowlers and continue his fine form, having scored back to back knocks of 97 against Uva and 71 against Sabaragamuwa. His superb from would force the selectors to include him for the three-match one day international series against the West Indies.
Both teams figuring in Monday’s second semi final finished with ten points each having recorded two victories from their four outings at the completion of the preliminary round. Kandurata of course had the better of Ruhuna earlier during a league match and will be hoping for a repeat performance.
