The Indian Republic Day was celebrated at the newly opened consular office in Jaffna today.
The consul general V. Mahalingam hoisted the Indian National, when the National anthem of the country was sang at the event.
Several dignitaries from Jaffna also took part in the event. Consul General Mahalingam had read out the message of the Indian President Prathipa Patel.
