Sri Lanka does not have any thing to hide from the international media as it fought a battle against the world’s most ruthless terrorist organization – LTTE, military Spokesman Maj. Gen. Ubaya Medawela said.
Addressing the media a short while ago he said the intention of having an international seminar on terrorism in end may was to sharing Sri Lanka’s experience in defeating terrorism.
“ Sri Lanka does not have any thing to hide in defeating terrorism. We fought with terrorists and won the battle while saving nearly 290,000 lives”, he said.
He said media would be invited to cover all the sessions of the international seminar on 'Defeating terrorism - the Sri Lanka experince' to be held from May 31 to June 2 in Colombo.
