Jaffna expects a bumper paddy harvest

<P>The Jaffna farmers, who cultivated 10,520 hectares of paddy land this year expect a harvest of 38,600 metric tones of paddy this year.

<P>The Agricultural Department of Jaffna said they would have a bumper harvest while the Eastern and some parts of the North suffers heavy losses due to floods.
