Lanka to host 'World sailing' event

<P>Sri Lanka will host the World Sailing Championship 2011 (GP 14 Class) event February 19 to 25, in Negombo.

<P>National Olympic committee and the Yachting Association of Sri Lanka, said that sailors from all over the world are expected for this event and maximum benefits must be achieved for Sri Lanka from this occasion. This also will serve as an ideal opportunity to promote Tourism in addition to development of water sports in Sri Lanka.
<P>In addition much International publicity will be given for this event and our country is definitely due to benefit such publicity.
