The National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) has decided to issue a special permit and a sticker to school vans. The NCPA took this decision following a request made by the Association of School Vans to prevent abusing children and harassment faced by children while traveling in some school vans, Child Development and Women’s Affairs Minister Tissa Karaliyadda said.
“ We will also seek the assistance of Private Passenger Transport Ministry for the program”, he said.
