CGR warns of unprotected railway crossings

<p>With the commencement of the high speed train service between Galle and Matara, the Railway Department has warned the public to be vigilant and cautious around unprotected level crossings.

<p>The trains which ran at a speed of 43 kmph will run at a speed of 100 kmph from today.

<p>There are over 90 unprotected crossings between Galle and Matara.
