The government has taken additional security measures to strengthen security during the World cup cricket tournament in Sri Lanka.
Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage said the government would ensure security of the players and the visitors during the matches.
He said with the assistance of tri-forces and Police specialized security personnel would be deployed to maintain security.
“No need to worry about the security and we can guarantee the security," he said.
