Bangladesh Army Chief calls on Secretary Defence

<p>General Mohammed Abdul Mubeen, Bangladesh Chief of Army Staff, paid a courtesy-call to Secretary Defence Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Ministry of Defence today (Feb 24).

<p>A cordial discussion was held between the two officials on matters of regional defence interests followed by an exchange of mementos.

<p>Commander of the Sri Lanka Army Lt General Jagath Jayasooriya, Defence Attach‚ of Bangladesh High Commission in Sri Lanka and senior officers of Bangladesh Army were also present at the occasion.
