The first group of 36 Sri Lankans repatriated from Libya is expected to arrive in the country today.
The men who were employed at a Chinese Company in Libya, were repatriated with the facilitating of their company.
So far over 500 Lankan employees have sought repatriation from our mission in Tripoli. The Consular Division of the Foreign Ministry says a total of about 2400 Lankan workers are there out of which only 1400 are registered with the Foreign Employment Bureau.
