Mahela and Tikolo set for personal milestones [February 28 2011]

Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardene and Kenya’s Steve Tikolo are set to reach personal mile stone during their ICC World Cup tournament match to be played at Premadasa Stadium tomorrow. The match will be of great significance for Jayawardena who is just 48 runs short of becoming the third Sri Lankan batsman to score 9,000 runs in One Day Internationals.

In addition Steve Tikolo needs six wickets to become the first player from an Associate country to perform the double of 3,000 runs and the 100 wicket milestone in One Day Internationals.
