SLAF’s 60th Anniversary today

<P>Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) celebrates its 60th Anniversary today at
the Ratmalana Air Base.

<P>President Mahinda Rajapaksa, the Commander-in-Chief, will be the chief
Guest at the event.

<P>With several fighter planes, the SLAF contributed immensely during the
end battle against the LTTE, which ended in May 19,2009.
