The families wish to join the one million home garden projects will be given a training by the agricultural development officers in the respective areas, the Ministry of Economic Development said.
They will be given a training on preparing ground for planting vegetables seeds. Special seed and fertilizer pack will be distributed among the farmers and the families can obtain loans at concessionary interest from the Sanasa Banks and other state banks if they require more funds.
