The agriculture exports have recorded 21% growth in the first eight months of 2010 and increased to US$ 1,267 million compared to US$ 1,051 million recovered in the same period of 2009.
The growth in the agricultural exports in 2010, mainly accounted from strong performance of the tea sector and the higher prices fetched by minor agricultural crops, Finance Ministry sources told the Observer online today.
