Over 90 % complaints on noise pollution

<p>A staggering 90 percent of complaints received by Central Environmental Authority is noise related, Head of Electro Technology

<p>Laboratory of the Industrial Technology Institute (ITI) A.S Pannila said.

<p>"This is an indicator that awareness of noise pollution has improved and that the general public is willing to act against it, which was unheard of about a decade ago.  Manufacturing industries and motor traffic are among the channels that contribute to noise pollution" he said.
